The River-Run Backyard Ultra HQ is held at the A&P Showgrounds, Waipukurau, Central Hawke's Bay.

Waipukurau is located a short 45 minutes from Hastings, 1.5 hours from Palmerston North and a 3.5 hour drive from Wellington - so there's no shortage of close airports to fly into.
